I noticed that too - but I just assumed the host's storage had failed and they did a restore from backup . . .

The site was down for awhile yesterday. When it came back, it appeared that everything posted that day was gone. It wasn't you. Your thread was interesting and informative.

According to our server monitor service report we were indeed down last night:

Total Time on Error: 1 hour, 33 minutes, 44 seconds

We have no information as to why---it was an issue with our host---but as correctly stated, we were apparently restored via a "recent" backup---therefore a number of posts made after the backup was made, were lost when we were restored from that backup.

Our apologies for this inconvenience. Please repost as you like.
