RE,,, wfi fi access in Amsterdam....Stayed in The Old Quater Hotel on the Warmstratt (Spelling!!0) last week and had a snoop for wireless access points...There were loads!!!...I managed to access the net by loggin onto one called weald....had a very strong signal....so might be an idea to pop into a local coffeeshop Hill street blues etc and surf the net!!!

When I stayed at the Winston (less than a year ago) I saw some flickering signals but nothing strong enough to really use.
