This is such a friendly city that you will not be alone for long.
Conversely, you can watch a movie in a cabin, without your "mates" taking the mick.
You can in the words of the Hollies song "Look in any window".
Don't carry too much cash, cards, on your person.
Dine at off peak times, especially in "eetcafes", rather than big restaurants.
Pick up a pal of either sex, if you want a meal in a posh place.
You will meet people that you can open your heart to, in a way, that you could not do to a close friend.
Do not be afraid of appearing to be a "sad bastard" on their own.
You will have a great time!
