Going to paradise, I mean Amsterdam, in April 07. Started looking for rooms, and alot are already sold out...is this Queens B/Day or marathon week ?

try to find rooms at www.bookings.nl they have a lot os local inventory.

A lot of hotels don't take bookings over six months in advance. If you check the hotel sites after the first week in October (Including the one in the top right corner), you should see a lot more choices.

Try too http://www.amsterdam-hotels-guide.com/ less choice then easytobook but often better price

or perhaps look to the top right of this page and click on the link to hotels.nl. rooms are there for april 2007 and you can even support this site through your booking...
