What are the best websites for cheap airfare from the U.S. to the Dam - especially last minute?

try www.hotwire.com sometimes good for last minute airfares.

OUCH it looks like th eprices jumped today... WTF

Its because it is Long Bank Holiday Weekend for us British, everyone likes to take a quick weekend away.

I've been watching the airfares since my last trip in April. They've been consistently over $600 for the past four months. They finally dropped below $600 (but just barely) over the past weekend on flights from JFK to AMS. I booked a flight in October even though the fare is about $150 more than I usually pay.

Airfares keep jumping around daily.
Two weeks ago SFO to Ams was 712.00
Two days ago it was 749.00
Today 875.00
(last year november 607.00)

I checked the sales and they haven't sold any tickets since I last called.
I am looking for tickets in November.

I use expedia, orbits and direct to the airlines.
The airlines tend to have the best prices.

I use hotwire, travelzoo and priceline for last minute deals.
The airlines again tend to have best last minute prices.

It's just like airport security, who knows what is next.
