This won't be one of your typical reports on mongering, or whatever you want to call it, as this regards a place where prostitution is illegal. This will be more of a short little tale of a place that might exist very close to where I live. Many, if not most on this board will never make it to my little corner of the world, especially with NYC being right next door. I'm just putting this up here to report(sort of) on a place in an area of the world which is almost never mentioned on this board. This may very well not be of any interest to many of you, and I can't promise that it will be particularly exciting either. Don't say I didn't warn you if you continue reading from here.

As many Americans on this board have lamented in the past, P4P in the U.S. can be anything from tricky to an absolute nightmare depending on the area of the country you're in. For anyone who is unfamiliar with and wants to get a great visual feel for the Northeast New Jersey area of the U.S., one thing I can suggest is to check out some episodes of The Sopranos. With the exception of NYC, all exterior scenes on the show were shot in NJ.

So in the area where Tony an his thugs mob around, you have a couple of choices. One big one here is Craigslist, or Craig's Shitlist as I like to call it. Here, you potentially have to deal with multiple phone calls, driving to one hotel for an outcall escort only to be ordered to different one, outdated or misleading photos, and the very annoying bait-and-switch. Sometimes, the best bet with Craigslist in NJ is to shoot for girls with a phone number with an area code from a different state. This is an indicator of a travelling pro, and I've had some good luck with a few of these compared to local escorts. Then there's massage parlours, of which 90% are Asian with some Latinas and Eastern Europeans sometimes doing it as well, but that's getting rarer these days. Those girls are usually found more often in the go-go bars, which vary greatly in quality of the girls that they employ as well as how much they allow their dancers to do in the lapdance rooms.

And that brings me to my last experience. There's a little go-go bar over here which has been around for quite a few years now. Through the grapevine I heard that this place's lapdance rooms are quite lively these days, so I decided to revisit this place after at least nine years away. There were mostly Latinas here now, though I noticed a couple of East-European girls, most likely Polish or Russian, as well as a few African-Americans. There were no major stunners, but there were some ladies present who were passable enough to keep me from walking right out of the place. I sat at the stage and ordered a beer, and was quickly solicited for "some fun" in the lapdance room by a Peruvian girl who was on the stage at the moment. It wasn't at all crowded, so I knew if I'd be doing anything in this place, I'd be getting to it quickly because when there's few punters in a go-go bar you get a lot of aggressive attention. I wasn't into the first girl and within one minute of sending her off I was approached on my side of the stage by a curvy Brazillian, whose name I forget as I was already quite wasted when I walked in the place, and was more concerned with the fake name that I was giving her anyway. By grabbing the right part of me through my pants, and playing very naughty with one of my fingers, she made it pretty clear that some time in the lapdance room with her would involve more than just a dry-hump. So with that, I decided to give it a go. I had been in the place maybe five minutes at this point.

The "lapdance room" was nothing more than a hallway that extended from the main stage area with around half a dozen little corrals in a row extending from one side. There were no curtains, so this place was not for the apprehensive to say the least. Entrance to the area was $20. Another $80 got me a CBJ to completion-not exactly a bargain there, though she told me that for $100 I could fuck her, something I wasn't really interested in with this lady and certainly not under such lousy conditions such as the sketchy room I was in. I felt quite daft enough with what I was doing in this place already. This was a real-deal, wham, bam, thank you kind of place. I know it would take a few more visits for me to get a real feel for what this place has to offer, but who knows if I'll be back to this place anytime soon.

Well, there you have it. A little bit of old Dirty Jersey for you. I have a GF here, and certainly don't need to be engaging in such nonsense at home, let alone Holland, but I always find myself mongering in my area when in anticipation of an upcoming Amsterdam trip.

Dude, it was an established NJ go-go bar, not a Soho clip joint. You're giving the board an unwarranted impression here. This isn't some foreign country to me. It's my backyard, and I know it well. If some bouncer around here were to try such a stupid thing as "relieving" me of my debit card, he'd better think to confiscate my celphone first or he'd have a small army at his door that very evening. And even if he were to be so crafty, he wouldn't be able to return to his job the next day without a very serious problem. In the UK and Amsterdam I have a high degree of vulnerability. Here at home, fucking with me on that sort of level would get someone seriously gorged. Besides, I've been going to go-go bars around here on-and-off for years so I do have half a clue as to what I'm doing. And did I not make it clear from the onset of my post that P4P around here sucks to the point of barely being worth it?

I never suggested that anyone on the board visiting NYC should trek across the GWB and try to find a sleazy NJ go-go bar to get their rocks off in. There may have been more specific information relayed if that were the case. I was merely reporting on an experience that I had. No need for peanut gallery comments.

It's always cool to hear other experiences from around the world, and i must confess i found the seedy aspect appealing!! LOL!!

Thanks Amsterman. The fact that my report was so different was precisely why I decided to write it. At least some people around here were able to simply appreciate that, or decline to dish out an unnecessary lecture. And yes, it was quite a sleazy experience. Almost too sleazy in fact, lol!

As I do not frequent go-go bars, I must defer to your expertise in this area....
