I have always wanted to check out thailand, but hear its just too comercial now. A friend says that i should go to Vietnam, but that sounds crazy.

Anyone have any insight in to taking three weeks to chill on beaches and drink cheap beer?

I have never been to Thailand but most of my relatives in Iran take there mongering trips there. It's a cheap flight from Iran and it's one of the few countries that Iranians can travel to that is good for mongering. I have only heard good things. IRAN NUMBER 1, RUSSIA NUMBER 1....USA AKHH TOOF

Too commercial Thailand, what you pay for 15 minutes in Amsterdam you can have a sexy Thai lady all night who will give you a great girlfriend experience. So many places to go Pattaya has thousands of women available, Bangkok more expensive but still cheap in comparison to Amsterdam. If want great beaches Koh Samui is a beautiful island and always women available. Great country just do some research and understand the culture and you will have a great time.

If you have never been to Asia before then Thailand is definately the first place you want to visit !!!

You will need some Asian travel experience before you want to try Vietnam. Pay for Play in Vietnam is far more of a challenge. Definately go to Thailand- it is not too commercial. Most of the beer from Vietnam sucks.

i have been hearing good things about koh phi phi and koh samui... i think P4P is not the top of my needs as i can meet chicks pretty easy, but its nice to have it on the table if i cant... haha.

looking for good food, easy chill vibes and a beach that is safe and nice. wish that thai land was more weed friendly tho, hate the idea of going to jail for a J.

anyones thoughts on any of this would be much apriciated.

You can't go wrong with Phi, Phi and Samui and Thailand has much better food than other destinations. If you make it to Thailand be sure to get a soapy massage in BKK and or Pattaya- your life will never be the same. There are tons of MP's in Bangkok- ones I have used are Darlings and Cupidy. In Pattaya Sabailand and Sabaidee MP's on second road near Big C mall never disappoint. Look for Beer Lao in Bangkok- Reg or Dark, Foodland sometimes has it and some bars in Nana Plaza have it.

To switch gears- the Philippines is an option. The food is not as good as Thailand but you can get reasonably priced food in the high end hotels. I could live on a diet of San Miguel Beer, San Miguel light and Red Horse Ale.
In the Phils you would fly into Manila- it is a freakin zoo, even more so than Bangkok. Entertainment options are the go go bars of EDSA Entertainment complex or the go go scene in Makati. I loved the freelancer scene at LA Cafe in Manila- not sure of the current status at LA.

For Beaches- Boracay in the Philippines can be reached via flights from Manila or Angeles City. The best part of the Phils is that most of the people speak English. I would spend a couple nights in Manila, then arrange transport to Angeles City and spend a few nights in the go go bars on Field Ave. Bar fine a few GRO's and have yourself some fun- if you meet a chick you really like if she can get time off work the two of you could fly from Angeles direct to Boracay and spend a week together on the beach. Rent a friend program.

Still a 24 hour freelancer bar with two floors of chicas that on a good night are approx 250 gals

LA cafe is located in the Ermita section of Manila. Best hotel walking distance to LA Cafe is the Hyatt Hotel and Casino- GF Hotel- no joiner fee. Decent food-& room service at the hotel.

Decent grub at the Pan Pacific hotel a couple blocks away as well.
