Pantyless tea rooms
Pink rooms
Massage parlors
Image clubs

Has anyone visited any of these? Is it hard for foreigners to get in?
How much do they charge?

Did some research on this before a visit a few years ago: general conclusion was that's hard for a foreigner to get in to most of these places. Did not get further than various strip joints in Roppongi: take-aways available but very expensive. On a recent thread at Captain 69 Club Boo (www.clubboo.com) was recommended, also www.rosso-martini.com looks possible but not so good english on website suggests difficulties ahead.

I second tw25rw's recommendation of Thailand - much more accessible to a foreigner and way cheaper.

I've always had great times at Hinomaru: http://www.hinomarukanko.com/ It's in Kabuki-cho, Shinjuku. They also have a coupon offer for Y2000 off on the website, and they frequently distribute said coupons about two blocks away from the place.

One of the few places in Tokyo which accepts everyone. Japanese-speaking gaijin can get into maybe 30% of the places, maybe more if they have a good connection. If you're not Japanese, Asian or white, your chances are few and far between, but I've always thought highly of Hinomaru.
