Mmmmm..........! i dunno about the report myself. Firstly, the report you have linked to is in the USA, not the testing of "herbal" pills in the Netherlands. Secondly, as it is from America I don't particularily trust it cos I've read various reports about various subjects by American companies, and found them to be incorrect compared to other research carried out by different countries (I believe the American government often only allow things like this to be published if it benefits them!).

I've tried the odd "herbal" pill in Amsterdam, and some give some fx, some don't but none made me feel ill or unwell!

Obviously if the report is correct, it will depend on your physical state, but then again everything nowadays depends on your physical state! The report says the pills cause people with heart trouble to possibly have heart attacks, but that doesn't really prove anything because someone who has heart problems could have a heart attack walking down the road!

At the end of the day if you fancy giving them a go, do it! If the report has worried you, then you're probably best not trying them, or going to your doctor and asking their advice (maybe if they say you shouldnt take herbal versions, he may give you the real thing!)

I know I'll be trying an assortment of pills and liquids when I'm in the dam next month. If something goes wrong, it goes wrong.

At the end of the day, if you listen to all the advice given by experts around the world, you wouldn't eat or drink anything, probably hardly do anything (but that would also cause problems!)!

Maybe the experts will come up with a suggestion that the air we breath causes a rare disease, and we shouldn't F*ck1ng breath!

Thanks JGM and agree with your philosophy on the whole, just curious what people who've tried the options in the Dam have experienced, so much obliged.

The odds of getting run over by a bus or a drunk driver or a cyclist (in the Dam especially) are much higher than the rest, so my attitude and behaviour has always run along the same lines.

My recommendation is to smoke copious amounts of weed then do a tour round De Wallen - it will result in you getting in the mood and entering a hypnotic trance whereby despite all plans to save money and maybe not even shag any girls, you will proceed to spend lots of money and shag up to 5 girls in 24 hours in De Wallen, leaving you bewildered afterwards as to how you could have been such a seedy git!

Cocksure has my normal plan for when I'm in the Dam pretty much down to a T! Smoke most of the day with a little bit of redlight fun, then shag most the night with the odd smoke! Maybe a couple of beers thrown in at any time.

But as for the Herbal sex pills themselves, not 100% sure of their effects.

But as I said before I've tried a number of the "Herbal XTC" products sold in the Smartshops, but cannot currently get into some of their websites to get the names (must be legal matters, as one of the shops has stopped delivering most of their products to the UK, which they did about 3 months ago).

Anyway the majority of the XTC pills I've tried have worked quite well.

One of them which was in a small yellow container worked similar to XTC but with a Viagra sort of effect. Me and my mate took two each at about 4pm, come 6pm we hadn't really noticed anything, and just presumed they were shit, but then we both started to feel some effects, i.e. quite buzzy, a lot of energy, etc... So we carried on with our evening as normal and just put the delayed effects down to taking them on a full stomach, cos it does actually say take on an empty stomach! Anyway fastforward to about 12.30 a.m. Been buzzing all evening now, and now sitting in the hotel room, we've both been to see about 2 women each, but both of us are wide awake and (to be honest) very horny! We were still buzzing at about 2.30 ish (not able to even rest our heads on a pillow, let alone sleep) so start watching some porn and smoking fat spliffs till about 3.30, then my mate decided he'd "try" and get some sleep, i continued to smoke and smoke... after about 30 mins of him trying to sleep he decided he was wide awake, wired to the moon, with a "raging hard on", as he put it. To which I said I was feeling pretty much the same.

So at 4ish we both headed of in search of sexy ladies, and both buzzing are bloody heads off! We split up and said if we're not both back at hotel within an hour, we'll try searching for eachother. Anyway, I headed off and fucked a great Dutch girl round the corner from my hotel. I came out of there still buzzing and still rock hard, so checked my pockets - no money left (I only carry enough for what I need, in this case not enough!). So went up to the room for more money. On my way out the front door, my mate was on his way back in, he said he was still buzzing but couldn't afford another shag, so I left him to it and headed off in search of another lady. Found her, fucked her, came twice and she carried on and on for about an hour and a half (all just for 70 euro)(time now about 6ish). She ended up cumming next and decided she'd couldn't go any longer. She then thanked me for what she had received (I'm usually thanking them, I did anyway), and I headed back to the hotel to find my mate with the TV music channel on loud, dancing around the place! He hadn't realised I'd been gone for so long!

Neither of us slept that night, no matter how much weed we smoked, it wouldn't put us to sleep, and some of the weed we had was knock out stuff.

So, sorry about the length of my explanation, but simply I'm very stoned! As for the XTC pills, some do work, so no reason why the Sex pills won't. Just make sure you take them on an empty stomach, and have nothing important to do the next day, also speak to the people in the Smartshops.

I'm a bit sceptical about your experience on2 herbal pills jgm sorry. That whole thing sounds like you were both on the real thing I mean a 12 h buzz legally? I have tried a few out there but they did nothing for me at all. A mate of mine has been thru most of them and he found only 1 or 2 actually did anything and only for a couple of hours. If you can at least name the smart shop I would be interested to try them out next month. Either way you had a great time and I cant wait till I can't sleep in A'dam ;)

JGM's experience reads like herbal ephedra (speed) mixed with some other viagra like ingredients, so may experiment on my upcoming trip. Not crazy about speed like effects, but perhaps half a dose might be interesting as a starter.

Will see and will report back. If anyone else out there has tried the offerings in some of the shops and can offer names/tips, much obliged (have the thread which recommends Caligula for some little pills).

I bought the pills from Concious Dreams. If haven't been there before, just get onto the Warmoestraat and head up it (towards Centraal station). You'll pass hill Stret Blues on your left, continue about 200 years, maybe a bit more or less and it;s on your left hand side.

If anyone is interested in trying a herbal speed, I'm pretty sure the smartshop by the Dolleb will let you snort a free line of it. Havn't tried that myself.
