My personalized license plate request (04 20) for my Harley Davidson just receiveed the following response from the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division:

"The combination of letters that you requested could be pecreived as having a connotation that may be offensive or misleading to the public (R17-4-310). As a result your plate has been held and will be forwarded to the Motor Vehicle Division (MVD), Personalized Plate Review Committee."

"The Personalized Plate Revierw Committee meets on the third Thursday of every month, after which you will be notified of the committee's findings"

"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

My Birthday is 04/20 on my drivers license and that is what I used as the explanation for the personalized license plate.

The irony is that my first choice was 420 and it was taken. I had to apply for 04 20 and they are telling me there may be an issue? Really?
