Transavia Air and Sterling Air question

This summer I will be in Copenhagen on business for several days.I plan to use either Transavia or Sterling Air to hop a flight from Copenhagen to Schiphol for a 2 or 3 day visit in Amsterdam.Does anyone know if it is possible to book these flights on short notice or should I go forward and purchase a ticket well in andvance and if so how far in advance ?

The earlier you book the cheaper it will be.
