Get a milder strain, make a single-skinner with baccy and see how you go. Or if you buy a pre-rolled, just take a few hits and save rest for later. Take your time, no point spinning out in the Dam. Or get on the weed before you travel to build your tolerance back up?

For method, I'd recommend a large bong (mmm, water filtered) with only a small amount of weed in the cone. Spin it with baccy or not, it's your choice.

Upscale? Do you mean like respectable? :) Try Baba, which always reminds me of a Starbucks. Greenhouse Effect looks seedy but it's safe and pleasant. Hope that helps!

For an upscale coffeeshop try the Dampkring.

Good call Doc, I haven't been there in forever but it's a nice place inside.

If simply posting some goon at the door ordering customers to remove their hats upon entering qualifies a place as "upscale," then yeah, there's Dampkring! I haven't been there in years and don't plan on returning. Perhaps it's changed now.

Please do not take this advice. Avoid pre rolled joints and tobacco unless you are already a smoker.

Go to Barney's or some other place that has vaporizers and ask the budtender/serving staff how to use. Buy 1/2 a gram of something appropriate and away you go.

Good luck!

This is a very good point. I started smoking mixed joints after my first trip to Amsterdam and discovering that everyone here (and in Europe) rolls tobacco with their weed. No big deal I thought. Then eventually I was smoking cigarettes. Not something I needed in my life, but there it is.
