Just wanting to confirm the status on tourists buying the green stuff from coffeeshops, last I'd heard the Mayor of Amsterdam stated that they wouldn't be introducing the "weed card" law they introduced in the south of Netherlands.

Going at the start of January so I'm just wanting to check and double check that I can make a purchase as a tourist.

They did not implement the weed pass system, so tourists can purchase weed at coffeeshops. However, they are implementing the 1012 plans, which means gradually coffeeshops are closing in the 1012 postcode......and those coffeeshops outside of 1012, but are within a certain distance of a school, will also shut.

But for January, no worries at all.
