maybe im retarded but how the hell can figerprints determin somebodys age? i find this hard to believe

From the article...."Customers must first register with the shops, but personal details will not be stored." Once you have registered and had your ID verified, you won't need to show your ID ever again. Your fingerprint is now proof of your age.

The article said that customers must first register with the shop. Presumable they show an ID when they register.
