Me and the missus are going on our honeymoon in Amsterdam and my wife really wants us to go to a brothel. As do I, of course. Preferably somewhere with a bar where one can have a drink before picking out the girl(s) we would like to spend time with.

Is this at all realistic or are the brothels/sex clubs exclusively for men?

Worth trying the prives. We have done this in the past, but the establishment is no longer open. Just walk up and ask. There are (used to be?) several on Overtoom, a short tram ride from the centre. Ria's and Golden Key if memory serves. Also you are close to the Vondelpark for beers if the weather is nice.
