Ideas of things to do between Alkmaar's R/L sessions?

Hey All, I will be back soon. I didn't get to know Alkmaar as well as I would have liked. Can you guys give a few ideas of cool coffeshops, pubs, hotels or anything else of interest.
Looking for a few places to relax and unwind when I am not rolling through the red lights.
