I only spent part of a day in Leeuwarden on my way to Zwaagwesteinde ... but I definitely want to go back to Leeuwarden that is!

Coming out of the train station walk across the street (around the traingular round-a-bout) and head North. If I remember correctly about two blocks down on the left side of the road is an office building with the VVV on the first floor. ...stop in and purchase a cheap map.

Comving out of the VVV go left (north) across the canal. Either walk a few blocks north and then turn right when you come to the square (do some sightseeing). Or turn right at the canal and follow it Weaze.
