staying in amsterdam how far and how easy to get to Alkmaar ?
do trains come back late if we visit in the night time?
and are girls in windows?
if so how big is the red light there?
or is there another city with a large redlight district with window girls which do you recomend and how far from dam?

Alkmaar is a 45 minute train ride from Amsterdam

I believe the train stops running around 1:00 am, you can find out details at The Netherland Railways website in English

yes, the girls are in windows. The RLD is on a single street called the Achterdam.
