I'm staying in Alkmaar in a few weeks (on business trip) and was wondering what mongering alternatives might exist. Was hoping there might be a prive or some equivalent? Can't seem to get the h******s.nl site working on my tablet so any advice gratefully received.

Hi Alice Beeblebrox,there is a small club named ClubElite,26 Bergerweg,near to a big Water like Tower building,right hand side of the road,if you arrive at that tower you have gone past the Club Entrance.
If you google Clubelite,Alkmaar, you can access phone number etc,hope this was helpful.

FYI:

On the site you were looking for (I checked for you), no info was posted on any prive in Alkmaar for over a year. That should normally indicate it is not worth pursuing, For prive's, Haarlem and Amsterdam seem a better option. The RLD is a scenic gem, however IMHO (I visited but not been inside, actually).

The Achterdam is a thing of beauty! A temple of mongering efficiency, with almost no potential for a rip-off, and a great chance of some very interesting extras at very reasonable prices!
The central square is beautiful, food is good, and there is a bar and coffeeshop at the canal end.
One of the best, and most compact, RLD's I have ever visited.
Even though I am staying in Amsterdam, I will probably spend the next two Saturdays in Alkmaar.
Now that my rant is done...
Hookers lists some reviews for private incall in Alkmaar, and Kinky.nl has a few pages of escorts.
I don't know of any brothels or clubs.
