Has anyone let the wind blow them around on your trip with no set destination and no lodging predetermined? I kinda want to do that to keep my options open if I like a certain girl or area. How did it work out for you? Can you even do something like this when they ask you upon arrival?

It's much cheaper if you get a place for a week, or split time between two, and wander from there.
I've done it in Germany. Some of the FKK's will help you get a local room. Usually pretty basic places, but I was fine with that. Bernd's uses Hotel Rauter, Golden Time uses Heidicamp. Living Room set me up with a place in Kaarst, but the manager was a dick, and tried to charge me 239Euro for a room that normally goes for 100. Ended up driving to Monchengladbach for a more reasonable rate, and went back to GT the next day. You can get burned if you are unlucky. The point of those trips is to get rid of stress, not get more stress scrambling for a room.

Great point. Set up shop and go from there. Stress relief is the key so that’s great advice for me to hear. I’m gonna chill instead of trying to see the whole planet.
