A barber who killed one of his clients with a pair of scissors in self-defence seven years ago has been arrested again for stabbing another customer this past Thursday. The stabbing occurred during a dispute over a pair of glasses, police said Friday. The barber, who was not identified, works in a shop called The Hairbox on Amsterdam's best-known market street, the Albert Cuypstraat. In the previous case, the barber argued successfully that he was attacked by a drunken customer and didn't realize he still had his scissors in hand as he fended him off. Thursday's victim, a 28-year-old, was in stable condition following surgery. It was a close shave for him. (Sorry, couldn't resist!) |
